One high-end king bed, two twins, and a comfy sleeper sofa makes this a great house for a couple, a family with children, or a group of up to six adults. Twin Lakes Beach. Literally steps to the sand (not just cliffs). Over a mile of sandy shoreline, and tons of activities. (See Santa Cruz Activities link above.) Winter Photos. Dog-Friendly. We're all set up to welcome your dog, who we know is part of your family. Hardwood floors (and plenty of regularly cleaned throw rugs) ensure that although Casa del Barco welcomes dogs, it always smells like a fresh and clean beach house. Dogs love Casa del Barco. Kitchen. Just because it doesn't get cold at night, doesn't mean you can't cozy up in front of the fire.  Free WiFi. Divinely comfortable king-size Simmons Beautyrest pillowtop mattress. You'll never knew you could sleep so well. A cute denim comforter and fun beach pattern sheets reinforce the seaside vacation feel. Each guest has their own nightstand and reading lamp. An alarm clock is available so you can make your morning activities; but with a bed this comfortable, you might just want to sleep in. Family Room. A fun room with plenty of seating. You'll enjoy watching the boats go in and out of the harbor, playing board games, cozying up by the fire, or just relaxing with the TV or a DVD. (And we think the blue chair is truly the world's most comfortable chair. Everyone loves it.) Kitchen. The clean and tidy kitchen has all the accoutrements you'll need to prepare care-free meals (when you're not enjoying the neighborhood's fantastic restaurants). Including: * Microwave * Dishwasher * Place settings for eight * Common spices and condiments * Dualit toaster * Food processor * Common cooking utensils (e.g., spatula, can opener, grater etc.) * Pots, pans, and baking dishes A handy "corner market" is just two blocks away, making it an easy walk to pick up fresh items you might need like milk and produce or a box of wood for a beach bonfire; or a supermarket is just a five minute drive if you want to do more serious shopping. Versatile Dining Room. Comfortably seats six, and quickly expands to seat eight using a built-in leaf (that can also be pulled out and used as a side board.). You can sit at this table and watch the boats go in and out of the harbor as you drink your morning coffee, eat a meal, or play cards. Cute blue silverware goes nicely with the blue chairs. It's just one of the thoughful details you'll notice while staying at Casa del Barco. Laundry facilities. You might not want to do laundry on vacation, but sometimes you have to, and if you do, Casa del Barco has a brand new washer and dryer ready to go. We also provide laundry detergent, fabric softener, stain remover, and an iron and ironing board, so your laundry goes as quickly as possible...and you can get back to the beach. Extra seating. More room to rest, or put on your beach shoes. Cute decorations and a sunny family room and dining area make Casa del Barco a vacation you'll remember.
